born and Mississippi raised, hip hop artist Jay DaSkreet is on the rise. Writing at an early age became his early escape from the rough roads of the Mississippi Delta. He transitioned into writing
poems, short stories and eventually entire songs. Even though Jay is considered
a hip hop artist, he has written and co-written songs in almost every genre and
is currently working on the release of Walk The Line Vol. 2. As the second installment of the Walk the Line project, this masterpiece picks up
where Vol. 1 left off, introducing Jay and his love of the craft to everyone
that will listen. Jay DaSkreet is bringing hip hop back one song at a time.

The Line Vol.1 it's now available on all digital download sites including DatPiff.com There are several visuals on YouTube that feature songs from the project. Jay has worked with artists
such as Queat Harris, Japan, Latoya Bright, Ya Boi Slicc, Duce Hare and the extremely talented Saxophonist Dr. Gregory Shaw aka The Don Gregory just to
name a few. He has also worked with countless producers including Haywire, Slim
Pro Beatz, Know Good Productions, and Trackman just to name a few. In addition to the Walk The Line Vol. 2 project, Jay will also be releasing an
artist family generated mixtape entitled "No Chill." No Chill is a
"listener's choice" project that only includes songs requested by his
fans.
